What is my Payment Activation Code?
After you sign up for CheckFree Electronic Billing and Payment Service, we process your enrollment and activate your account. We then mail you a Payment Activation Code through the U.S. mail, which gives you full access to all of the features in CheckFree Electronic Billing and Payment Service. The Payment Activation Code adds another level of security and prevents somebody else from making payments with your name and address. Here are a few important points to remember about your Payment Activation Code: • You cannot make a payment until you enter your Payment Activation Code. • After you receive your Payment Activation Code, you have the opportunity to enter it when you sign in. • Your Payment Activation Code is not an ID or password. • Once you enter your Payment Activation Code, you never need to enter it again.
