The technology for validating VPN and Parachute IDs and passwords at log-in was improved on 6/1/2005. All new VPN and Parachute IDs created via Web Sponsor use the person’s NIH Login ID instead of an Account Sponsor chosen ID. When the person logs into VPN or Parachute, they should use their NIH Login ID and password the username and password they use to login to their computer at work.
