The easiest way to get that answer is to go to a place like www.dslreports.com and into the tools area and run a speed test. You can also go to www.speakeasy.net/speedtest as well ATT/Yahoo DSL refers to the “measured internet speed” as the speed that you get using their speed test tools located within their network, and not those of third party sites (like the ones mentioned above). If you have having problems with your DSL service, their tools MIGHT show you that you are getting lesser speeds than you are paying for, but odds are that won’t necessarily explain fully any connections to the internet in general, or general slowness.
