What is my life like, as a Sister of Charity?
What is the life of a Sister of Charity, like? I am obliged to divide up my life but everything is carried out together in the research of an equilibrium that must always be kept with in the four major poles. A time of formation: this time is given to me that I may be able to review if what I am living is in line with my profound desire. Therefore, I have time to review what I have lived and time to learn more, thanks to the study of the Scriptures, the writings of St Jeanne Antide and of St Vincent de Paul and the Vows of chastity, poverty, obedience and service to the poor. Community life: Presently, I am living with four sisters. We did not choose ourselves. Our life together is possible thanks to the community and personal prayer, accepting differences, pardon and sharing our daily activities. We live in a multicultural area where we try to witness that it is possible to live together in spite of our differences. We are together on a mission following the paths of St Jeanne Antide.
