Your email@connect address will be similar to your official QUT student email address but instead of @student.qut.edu.au, it will be @connect.qut.edu.au (e.g. joe12.jones@connect.qut.edu.au). Your email@connect email address and sign in are the same and it is also your Windows Live ID which provides you with access to other applications offered by the Microsoft Live@edu program. QUT recommends students provide fellow students, friends and family with their @connect.qut.edu.au email address because, provided you graduate from QUT, you will be able to continue using email@connect for life. This means you don’t need to tell everyone you have a different email address after you graduate from QUT.
