What is my default return email address?
Your default return email address for UW Google Email is UWNetID@uw.edu where UWNetID is replaced with your own UW NetID. If you prefer to use your @u.washington.edu address, you can update the “Send mail as:” value within Google. To do so: • Log in to your UW Google Email account at http://gmail.uw.edu/ • Click on the Settings link. • Within the Settings section, click on the Accounts tab. • In the “Send mail as:” section, click on the “Add another email address you own” link and follow the instructions provided. • Make sure you choose to set the new address as your default if you want UW Google Email to automatically use it as your From address.
