How much is your case worth? No one can tell you an exact amount what your case is worth without fully evaluating all the facts. There is no standardized value for what a case is worth. Instead, each case is unique and must be valued on its own merits. There are several factors that can affect the value of a case, including the full nature and extent of the injuries, lost wages, the length of treatment and recovery time, whether there is comparative liability, whether there is a permanent injury, and whether punitive damages apply.
Once the injured person has reached maximum medical improvement (MMI) and the physician has rendered his final narrative report, identifying what permanent injuries the injured person has suffered and assigned the particular permanent impairment rating, then it is time to submit a settlement demand on behalf of the injured person to any and all of the insurance companies involved in the particular case.
