Researchers have found that a large number of internal brain regions work together with the input and output brain sensors that make up the mental images of the music a guitarist sees in their minds eye. Ustilising these images, guitarists can discover how to interpret the signals coming in, process them, then turn them into output responses of a set pattern – for example the study of musical patterns.
