What is Municipality?
Municipality means an institution of Self-Government constituted under section 12 of Bihar Municipal Act, 2007, read with Article 243Q of the Constitution of India, and includes a Municipal Corporation (Nagar Nigam), a Municipal Council (Nagar Parishad), and a Nagar Panchayat, referred in section 13 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007.
