What is multi-view service?
The multi-view service is a concept that has not been introduced in Australia. It allows the viewer to see information related to what is being viewed. Multi-view may even allow a viewer to change the camera angle. While this is a possibility with digital TV due to the large amounts of data that can be transmitted in the video signal, it has not been implemented yet and there are no concrete plans pertaining to it. What is FreeView? Freeview is a new free-to-view digital television service offered by Australia’s free-to-air broadcasters. Launching in 2009, the Freeview service will offer viewers improved picture quality as well as access to 15 channels and an Electronic Program Guide on ABC, SBS, the Seven, Nine and Ten networks, as well as regional broadcasters WIN, Prime Media and Southern Cross. What are program enhancements? Program enhancements are another added service not currently available in this country. They are essentially extra channels of video, audio or text information
