A40. Use of tobacco products, including cigarettes and chewing tobacco (dip), is not allowed inside any campus building or in state vehicles anywhere at anytime. Tobacco products may only be used in an area designated for tobacco use, such as a designated outdoor gazebo. Using tobacco products in areas other than that described above is prohibited. This includes entranceways, parking lots, and other areas on campus other than the designated area. In addition, having chewing tobacco or dip in one’s mouth while on duty is prohibited unless one is on an approved break and in a designated smoking area.
