What is motivation internal and external?
External motivation is when others pressure you to do or be something. If your girlfriend asks you to cut your hair, that’s external. Internal is when you do it. Or, you have the desire within. If you see a guy in an advertisement with a haircut you like and you decide to get it, your decision is internal, but the stimulus was from an external source–the ad you saw.
