What is mormon underware and how is it different?
The garment, as worn by temple-endowed members of the church, serves as a daily reminder of sacred covenants they make with God in the temple. I am not familiar with Hasidic or Muslim underwear, so I can’t help you there. But the LDS garment is also designed to encourage modesty in dress; for example, you wouldn’t see a garment-wearing Mormon dressed in a short skirt or a low cut blouse, because such articles of clothing would not adequately cover the garment. However, Mormons do remove their garments when wearing a bathing suit. Because garments are basically emblems worn to remind oneself of temple covenants, only temple-worthy Mormons are allowed to purchase them.
