What Is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS exists for every mother–urban, suburban, and rural mothers, stay-at-home and working mothers, teen, single and married mothers– mothers with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire – to be the very best mothers they can be! The MOPS ministry brings the importance of motherhood to the forefront and provides mothers of preschool-aged children with a network of friends and Christian-based resources to guide and support them. MOPS is seeking to expand in Europe by continuously planting new groups while providing support and resources for existing groups. MOPS FAQ’s Q: My child is five years old and has just started kindergarten. Am I allowed to still come to MOPS? A: Yes. MOPS is not a mother-and-toddler playgroup; we exist to meet the needs of moms! Mothers with preschool-aged children from 0 through 5 years are very welcome at MOPS with or without their preschooler. Q: I would like to come to MOPS and bring my two preschoolers.
