Fusion is a technique of doing hair extensions that uses small drops of heated adhesive to attach small pieces of loose (un-wefted) hair directly to the clients hair near, but not at, the scalp. Most commonly the adhesive is heated using “Glue Gun” similar to a craft gun that you can buy at a hardware store, but only at a temperature specific to the type of adhesive being used for the procedure.
