What is Monash University doing for safety for international students?
We seek to create a safe environment at all of our campuses and provide information for students about personal safety. • At the start of each semester, members of the Victoria Police Multicultural Liaison Unit are invited to speak to international students on safety. • The University provides information to international students about safety and security in the International Student Newsletter which is emphasised during other events on campus. We value the supportive multicultural environment at Monash and will do everything we can to further enhance this. If an emergency does develop, there is a 24-hour emergency number for on-campus matters – (03) 9905 3333, or extension 333 from any internal phone. If students encounter a threatening situation off-campus, Victoria Police can be contacted by telephone on 000.
