What is MO HealthNet Managed Care (formerly known as MC+)?
MO HealthNet Managed Care (formerly known as MC+) is a program for uninsured children of low-income families who do not have access to affordable health insurance. The MO HealthNet Managed Care program receives both state and federal funding. MO HealthNet Managed Care provides low-cost or no-cost health insurance to eligible families with children. MO HealthNet Managed Care provides eligible members with a Primary Care Provider (PCP) to coordinate their health care and preventive services. MO HealthNet Managed Care expands the availability of affordable health insurance for uninsured families and children. It also increases health care efficiency and controls costs.
