What is Mist Modification?
Mist Modification is a total conversion of Half-Life 2 based on the world of Pirates. The mod features three playable sides, the Cut Throats, the Black Buccaneers, and the Cursed Pirates. Each side has their own checks and balances to keep the game balanced. Mist mod focuses on the darker, grittier world of Piracy and will feature a working ship-to-ship combat system, a complex swordfighting system, as well as several unique weapons such as whips and harpoons. While several features are being put into the game purely for enjoyment, we also add a level of realism to every portion of the game. Flintlock weapons take a long time to reload in real life, and take quite some time in Mist Mod. If your looking to plunder on the high seas, fire your cannons into the side of an enemy Galleon and drive your sword through the heart of the enemy, this is the mod for you.
