What Is Mini Tummy Tuck?
A mini-tummy tuck or mini-abdominoplasty is indicated in those patients who are not candidates for a full abdominoplasty and have a slight excess of skin which makes them poor candidates for a liposuction only procedure. A mini tummy tuck is a smaller procedure than a traditional abdominoplasty and is designed to primarily improve the contour of the abdomen below the belly button. A mini-abdominoplasty involves a shorter scar than a traditional abdominoplasty. It also involves more aggressive liposuction than may be safely permitted during a traditional abdominoplasty.
