Basically, mineral makeup is from weathered rock … The Mineral Makeup used in cosmetics has been cleaned of micro-organisms and is made without using water which keeps it clean and free from bacteria. Mountain Mineral Makeup does not contain any chemical preservatives which is nearly always found in commercial makeup and now in some other brands of mineral makeup. Minerals have been used for centuries,Aborignal cave paintings are done using minerals, as were the eyes of Cleopatra! How great it is to see us going back to nature with its amazing variety of colours & oxides that can be mixed and matched to be used as blush, eyeshadows, bronzers, nail polish and hair colour!!! Mica is a mineral found in crystallized thin sheets ranging from clear to Black in colour, its light reflecting properties helps obscure fine lines and wrinkles. It does not sit in them!
