What is MindTech Coalesce?
MindTech Coalesce is what is known in the computing world as a “Content Management System” (CMS). Simply put, it allows a single or person or a group of people to edit a website’s content at the same time while keeping a constant theme, or “look and feel” on the site. Let’s say, for example, that you work at a school. You probably have several people who need to have content maintained on the school’s website. This can be difficult, and even impossible task for a single web master to accomplish. With MindTech Coalesce, however, individuals can maintain a portion of the site designated for them to edit. For example, members of the athletic department can edit the sports schedule on the site, but cannot modify the main look of the site or content that does not belong to them.
