VBA is Microsoft’s Visual Basic® for Applications software programming environment. Essentially it’s Visual Basic minus the ability to create stand alone programs. One of the easiest and most popular programming languages in use today, VBA is a “glue language” that allows you to customize and link compatible applications such as Scentis, Excel, Access, and many, many more. The list of potential VBA uses is limited mainly by your imagination but in Scentis it’s often used to create macros, create custom input forms, and/or link to external ODBC compatible databases and other programs.
