What is Microsoft VBA and why is it part of IQbase?
VBA is Microsoft’s Visual BasicĀ© for Applications software programming environment. Essentially it’s Visual Basic minus the ability to create stand alone programs. One of the easiest and most popular programming languages in use today, VBA is a “glue language” that allows you to customize and link compatible applications such as IQbase, Excel, Access, and many, many more. The list of potential VBA uses is limited mainly by your imagination but in IQbase it’s often used to create macros, create custom input forms, and/or link to external ODBC compatible databases and other programs.
