What is metallography?
Metallography consists of the microscopic study of the structural characteristics of a metal or an alloy. The microstructure reveals the mechanical and thermal treatment of the metal and it is possible to predict its expected behaviour under a given set of conditions. Name different sectioning methods and cutters employed for sectioning the specimens.
