What is metallic photo finish.?

I love the metallic paper for images that are right for that medium. The paper really pops behind the image. It is about as close to the look of a transparency that you can get on paper. It probably compares to the old Cibachromes. There is glare from the glass, but you might be able to tell how “hot” the first one is. It’s a photo of a print made on the metallic paper.
