Yes, MetroNavigator allows you to send your current location, local searches, recent searches, or any of your favorites by going to the Messaging Icon. In addition, you can add on a message very similar to a text message in your place message. To send a place message select the messages Icon and select “New Place MSG”. Enter the recipient, place, and message, and then click ok to send.
