The Medical Research Information Technology System (MeRITS) Project Management Office was officially charted by Major General (MG) John Parker on 19 November 2001. The MeRITS Project Manager reports to the USAMRMC Commanding General (CG), through the Principal Assistant for Acquisition. The MeRITS PMO consists of people, processes, and technology that work to procure, configure, and sustain IM/IT solutions to meet the needs of the USAMRMC and its collaborators.
