BroadQ’s Medio software transforms a networked Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) game console into a digital media player capable of receiving video, audio and images from a host computer over a local area network. The PS2 is a powerful platform already connected to the televisions in over 70 million homes worldwide. There are currently over 24 million PAL-based PS2’s. Medio allows consumers to easily access their computer-based digital media from the television.
