What is meant by the Insured Group or Policy Number?

0

The Insured Group and/or Policy Number is the Employer Group or Account number for the Contracted Employer. There may be one or more of these numbers for a given employer group according to how your system is setup. Also, if your plan writes individual policies, this number would be the actual policy number and not the subscriber’s identification/contract number unless your system uses the same number for these two elements.
