What is meant by tabernacle and men in Rev. 21:3?
No doubt the same thing referred to immediately before this expression: the holy city, the new Jerusalem, the bride, i.e. the church. Even in eternity, the church will be distinct from the rest of men’ although national differences that still exist in the millennium (Rev. 21:24, 26) will have vanished and the church will enjoy a privileged position of special nearness to God in eternity, as His tabernacle’ or dwelling place.
