What is meant by social, emotional and intellectual factors in the development of children?
PIES.. Physical Intellectual Emotional Social Physical being the way they do things e.g. thier gross motor skills. Also how they are developing for thier age is running, walking, crawling, drawing ect. Intellectual is how thier speech is developing and if they yet know the alphabet, colours etc. Emotional is how they act e.g. if another child took thier toy would they get angry, be fine with it, try and get it back by being agressive. Social is similar to emotional, how they act with other children, how well they get on and if they are a social or unsocial child.
