What is meant by Remy hair?
The term Remy originates from Indian women who donate or “remit” their hair to the Temple in gratitude for some blessing in their life, or after they are married. Some women are unaware that their hair is being sold. The Temple then sells the hair and the proceeds go to the Temple to help provide free food and housing for pilgrims as well as to operate area hospitals, colleges and other charitable organizations. BRIJON offers different types of Remy hair, as outlined below.
