What is meant by permanent lien marking of funds?
Permanent lien marking is a facility by which you may choose to earmark a certain amount of your funds lying in your bank account to trade in Equity/Derivatives or IPO’s. The advantage of doing so is that the amount so lien marked will continue to earn interest as designated by the Bank until it is actually utilized for trading. The permanent lien marking process also ensures that you need not transfer money on a daily basis from your bank unless you unmark the lien on your funds.
