What is meant by “normal retirement age”?
That is the age at which payment of a retirement pension under your plan usually begins. Under most plans, the normal retirement age is 65. However, some plans set the normal retirement age under 65. In all cases and under all plans, the normal retirement age can never be later than the first day of the month following the one in which you reach age 65.
