The Foundation Year is part of an integrated programme of study designed to prepare students for their degree. Students are allocated a personal tutor from their future School and complete a project in the second semester related to the subject of their future degree. The curriculum followed by each student is tailored to their future degree programme. Following successful completion of the programme, students are guaranteed direct entry to the first year of their chosen degree.
