Effective communication occurs when the receiver of the message understands the message, the purpose and the tone you/ the sender intended. This does not always occur; ‘noise’ can make a message unclear or even unintelligible: sometimes the message is sent/received at the ‘wrong’ time, in a way that is misunderstood – there might be too much information or not enough. The language might not be appropriate and so on. What is the importance of effective communication in the global context?
