What is meant by different types of transcription?
You can set up different types of transcription from which to choose when creating a new document. For example, a type called ‘Dictation’ could be set up to provide the continuous patient record of office visit notes. Another type could be set up called ‘Letters’. Letters would be used for any correspondence to the patient. It then becomes a simple matter to look up the patient in EOB Express and see the various transcribed documents for the patient with associated ‘Last Edit Date’.
