• Technical assistance means any routine or specialized assistance provided to members by phone, email, FAX, or visits by SLS staff. It does not mean assistance given only on technology matters, but may include a multitude of topics concerning advocacy, purchasing, collection development, etc. • Consulting services provide expertise to member libraries such as program content, grant writing, budgets, grant administration, etc.
