What is meant by a. “a poem should be wordless as the flight of birds”?

To me it means that the words of a poem should convey emotion and you should the emotion. To choose words carefully so that the person remembers how it made them feel rather than remembering what they read. That the words are so important that each one is so carefully placed you can remember the poem just by how it made you feel. Just as the words “a poem should be wordless as a flight of birds” is a poem in and of itself, as i remembered it just by how it made me feel.
