What is MD5 checksum or URL page content hash?
The MD5 hash checksum is mostly used as a prevention against unauthorized content changes, but it will not work with dynamically generated pages which display different content every time. The hash is calculated when you save the URL in your WebSitePulse account and you or the contacts you’ve selected will be notified if the recorded MD5 hash doesn’t match the one that is calculated from the monitored URL.
