What is MCBs Election Strategy?
In the forthcoming general election increased numbers of Muslims will be eligible to vote – many as first time voters because of the youth weighted demographic profile of the community. Coupled with some of the highest voter-participation rates, British Muslims represent an increasingly important constituency on the British political landscape. As part of its remit to serve the community, MCB will encourage British Muslims to actively participate in the General Elections. It will also highlight issues that every politician and party should consider for the next five years.
