What is McAfee Security Scan Plus?
• I am running Windows and been running McAfee security software. Suddenly McAfee Security Scan Plus shows up on my system. I don’t remember downloading it myself. • I was prompted to update an application. When I did, the download told me it is installing McAfee Security Scan Plus as well as the update. Is this software legitimate or one of those fake antivirus malware programs?
