What is maya angelou doing now?
Even though Maya Angelou turned 80 years old in May of this year, she is far from retired. Just a few nights ago, the seventh of November to be exact, she and Tom Joyner, and a hip-hop artist named Common hosted an evening of healing at Riverside Church in New York, New York. She is a supporter of a new movement called Save The Race. The Community Healing Network and Riverside Church have joined forces to launch a global movement for intra-racial healing and interracial reconciliation.
