What is Marylands Lead Paint Poisoning Prevention Act?
Maryland’s Lead Paint Poisoning Prevention Act is a law that requires owners of rental property built prior to 1950 to register the property with the Maryland Department of Environment and to complete certain lead risk reduction measures. Owners of rental property build between 1950 and 1978 may elect to participate.
