What is Maryland 5 A Day?
The Maryland Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Education Program promotes activities and partnerships to increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables by Maryland residents. Members of The Maryland Healthy Eating and Active Lifestyle Coalition offer a variety of programs and activities to increase awareness of the importance of eating five or more servings of fruits and vegetables every day for better health and provide Marylanders with specific information about how to include more servings of fruits and vegetables into daily eating patterns.
