What is market place on Xbox 360 Elite? Does it allow you to download free new demos?
There is no Elite Marketplace. It’s just the Live Marketplace and all versions of the 360 can access it. Yes, it’s a lot like the Playstation store because the PS Store modeled a lot of their stuff after the Live Marketplace. No, the Elite does not have HOME. That’s for the Playstation. I think what you’re confusing is the fact the Xbox Live and the PSN are two totally separate online gaming services. The are owned and run by each console maker and do not share anything. They have similar features because the PSN has taken a lot of what Xbox Live can do and Live has taken a few things from the PSN. You can download demos onto your 360 from the Live Marketplace. They are available on the dashboard in the Game Marketplace area. There are also full games you can buy online, but these are games from the original Xbox. Full Xbox 360 games are supposed to be available for download very soon though. There are also Arcade games which are smaller games available for play if you buy them. These
