What is Marble Blast Platinum?
Marble Blast Platinum (MBP) is a fan-made sequel to the popular game Marble Blast Gold that was released to the public on December 23, 2007. MBP is not an expansion pack of MBG, but instead an entirely new game. It features all new levels, skies, marble, music, sounds, textures, menus, and much much more. It is a whole new Marble Blasting experience! Like MBG, MBP is an arcade racing game where you take control of a marble and race it from the start to the finish as quickly as you can, while avoiding dangerous hazards, dizzying chasms, slippery terrains, and more. In many levels there are diamonds (gems in MBG) the player must collect before he can finish. Other levels have a Par Time that must be beaten before going on to the next one. Also featured in many levels is (like MBU) an easter egg which the player must find. They are hidden very well and are a bonus challenge for the player.
