What is Malaysian Cyber Law?
Malasian Cyber Law is based around four Acts: The Communication and Multimedia Act 1998, the Computer Crimes Act 1997, the Digital Signature Act 1997 and the Telemedicine Act 1997. It is these laws that determine how computer users in the country should conduct themselves, their businesses and handle their data on the internet and intranets. Internationally, most cyberlaw is is the same. Country laws tend to focus on what the government and powerful religious groups deem to be appropriate use and access.
