It also has been used as an expectorant which may help loosen and break up mucous. How To Use Maki Maki is usually taken after meals three to four times a day. To administer, measure the prescribed amount using a dropper or special calibrated spoon. Place the medication in a full glass of water then stir and drink immediately.
