What is maintenance and what does it cover?
Maintenance is when the vehicle is fully serviced by the leasing company. This covers EVERYTHING apart from insurance and fuel, for the duration of the contract. You simply take the vehicle into the relevant dealership, and all the routine maintenance of the vehicle is carried out for you. This also includes tyres.
USA Mobility offers a Maintenance Policy to any USA Mobility unit that is owned and maintained by the customer. Maintenance can be purchased for a nominal monthly fee and protects against the malfunction of internal electrical and mechanical functioning of the unit due to normal wear and tear and under typical operating conditions. Under the Maintenance policy, a customer is entitled to exchange their unit for the same or like unit.
Metrocall offers a Maintenance Policy to any Metrocall device that is owned and maintained by the customer. Under the Maintenance policy a customer is entitled to exchange their unit for the same or like unit.
For a nominal fee, maintenance service is provided by Aquis for those customers who own and maintain their pagers. This service covers labor and parts required to repair or replace, at Aquis’ option, customer-owned pagers that have become defective through normal usage. This service does not include replacement of cosmetic parts, batteries, battery closures, or damage due to leaking or defective batteries. It also does not include repair or replacement of pagers that have become defective from such causes as accidents, physical abuse, carelessness, or water damage, as well as lost or theft.
